Tanya Lynch

Tanya, who David met recently in his local coffee shop, and who he has mentored, brings a totally different range of expertise and skills that contrasts and compliments David’s skills. Both, however passionately believe that connections are one of the key elements to successful businesses.

Tanya is an expert connector and networker with a contacts list ranging from Start Ups to National Brands. Her energy, enthusiasm and creative flair constantly inspires and energises those around her.

She is an established and respected business consultant within the media industry of Wales given her achievements in that particular sector. However, her experience extends beyond just that sector having helped people and businesses in retail, sales, marketing, business to business and beyond.

Tanya is the founder of Lynchpin Media Wales Limited, a diverse and unique media consultancy that she has grown over the last 3 years. Lynchpin is innovative at networking and an expert in connecting businesses that has already helped and supported businesswomen, and men, to help identify opportunities.  She has supported those that need to connect with a variety of likeminded brands to help them achieve their objectives.

In 2017 Tanya started Ease Retreats, a platform offering day retreats and wellness weekends for small groups and corporate clients along the Welsh coastline. Wellbeing, physical and mental, is close to her heart and this aligns with David’s beliefs and lived experiences.

A Big Ideas Role Model for Welsh Government since 2017 Tanya is no stranger to the Advisory sector.

She created and managed a businesswomen network group that grew from zero to 150 members within months Business Women Connect in 2014. Her leadership of this organisation has given Tanya the opportunity to be a mentor, a coach, an adviser and connector. She has established relationships that have stood the test of time which is a testimonial to her ideas and approaches.

Tanya has:

  • Owned, launched and project managed a coffeehouse brand and approached by Nuffield Hospital to manage their in-house coffee shops in Cardiff Bay and Hensol – The Deck Coffee House
  • Lead the over achieving of sales targets and first account manager to close £1million revenue for a new regional commercial radio station.
  • Managed 3 commercial teams including advertising, creative and sponsorship departments (Real Radio – The Guardian Media Group. 2002)
  • Successful event managed and global press liaison at The Ashes at the SWALEC stadium Cardiff
  • Project developed National and International PR campaigns as Events & Marketing manager for a leading water sports brand.
  • Marketing managed Welsh Government contacts including Welsh Food Promotions.
  • Managed the launch and development of a new publication whilst leading a team of photographers, copywriters and designers.
  • Acquired, redesigned and branded a local publication whilst managing a team of freelancers to grow revenue streams – Penarth View.
